Annual General Meeting and Chapter Bylaws Amendments Voting

On behalf of the Board of Directors of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Vancouver Chapter, I’m pleased to announce that the 2021 Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2021. The AGM is an important part of this evening for our membership. Please join us to celebrate our successes over the past year and share our plans for the future.

In 2021, the Chapter reached a significant milestone of 15 years. Thanks to all members, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and especially the hard work of the Board, the Chapter has accomplished a lot in many areas this year.

I look forward to seeing you at the AGM to share our accomplishments and vision for continuing success in bringing values to members and the business analysis community.

To align with IIBA Global membership harmonization, the Board of Directors is recommending the proposed amendments to the current Chapter Bylaws. The major changes are highlighted in yellow in the revised Bylaws document.

In accordance with “Bylaw 11 - Ratification and Amendments”, notice is hereby given of the proposed amendments fifteen (15) days prior to the AGM. Ratification of the proposed amendments requires a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the membership in attendance at the AGM.

Please review the amendments prior to the AGM since time will not be allotted during the AGM to modify the proposed changes; therefore, the resolution must be voted on as is. Feedback is always welcome.

Should you have any questions or concerns with respect to the amendments, please contact the President at president@vancouver.iiba.org.

Best Regards,

Holly Zhang, CBAP
