Sid Arya
As a seasoned technology leader with over 2 decades of experience in both consulting and industry, I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to offer. My career has taken me through a variety of leadership roles, working with top companies in the industrial manufacturing and consumer product sectors, including Johnson & Johnson, Fonterra, Invacare, and Canfor. My passion for Business Analysis has been a driving force throughout my professional journey, further honed by my work experience at the Big 4 consulting firm Deloitte.

Joanna Ng
Joanna brings over a decade of diverse Business Analysis expertise spanning Technology, Ecommerce, Marketing and Operations. Joanna’s unwavering passion for Business Analysis propels her to continuously deepen her knowledge of BA tools, equipping her with the insights needed to excel in her role.
Assuming the role of Treasurer reflects Joanna’s commitment to giving back to the community that has been instrumental in her career development. Her genuine passion for the field, promises to steer the Chapter towards continued success and inclusivity.

Arghavan (Avan) Khorsand
I am a Business Analyst with a background that began in computer software engineering and later expanded through an MBA and professional experience in business insights, operations, and procurement across multiple industries. This cross-functional exposure shaped my understanding of the gaps that often exist between business needs, data, and operational execution, gaps that effective business analysis can bridge.
Through my engagement with IIBA and the BABOK® knowledge areas, I have continued to develop my practice and am proud to contribute as a volunteer and member of the IIBA Vancouver Chapter team.

Kathy Woolverton
I’m a seasoned business and technology leader with extensive experience in business management, technology strategy, business analysis, and project delivery across a wide range of industries. As Founder and President of Synergy and 2 other companies, I’ve led and contributed to hundreds of successful system and software initiatives, and mentored many teams of IT professionals.
I’m also a long-term volunteer with the IIBA Vancouver Chapter. As VP of Marketing & Communications, me and the Marketing team are focused on strengthening outreach and engagement, increasing visibility, and supporting the continued growth and development of the business analysis community.

As a Business Analyst with over 12 years of diverse experience across roles and industries, including the last five years dedicated to driving successful business analysis initiatives. My career journey has been shaped by a passion for delivering impactful solutions, collaborating with dynamic teams, and fostering continuous improvement in processes and systems.
