Role: Business Analyst Lead
Organization: Langara College
The Business Analyst Lead plans, organizes and leads the activities of the Langara IT BA team on a day-to-day basis. Performs comprehensive reviews of business and functional requirements. Develops and implements analysis strategies, methodologies and plans. Leads the execution of reviews and analysis to ensure the quality of IT deliverables including project artifacts, infrastructure components, enterprise systems, database systems, integrations, as well as the security, performance, reliability and availability of the information technology in the College. Participates in strategic planning for IT initiatives and projects. Provides support to IT and user groups according to work performance standards set by the College.

Role: IT Business Analyst (Full-time for a 6 month contract)
Organization: British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC)
Reporting to Manager of IT Operations the IT Business Analyst will be entrusted to successfully deliver on the key IT business analysis deliverables as part of the BCUC’s ongoing IT Transformation Project. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the identification of business process requirements, changes and improvements;
  • Develop and deliver functional and technical design documents through effective collaboration with business owners;
  • Provide timely, insightful analysis with the appropriate level of detail to enable tactical and strategic decision-making;
  • Assemble test cases and scripts, and drive test execution – functional, integration and user-acceptance testing; and
  • Complete additional projects and tasks as required.

Role: Model Office Analyst
Organization: WorkSafeBC
Do you have three years of experience in project management? Are you experienced in conducting qualitative and quantitative research? If this sounds like you then consider joining our Model Office team as an analyst. You'll be responsible for the daily support of the Model Office projects within the Worker and Employer Services (WES) Claims division. In this role, you'll lead and support projects through research, ideation, experiment design, analytics, project planning, and client management. As a model office analyst you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, including conducting research, leading workshops, designing interventions and pilots, evaluating pilots, and writing and presenting reports
  • Lead a project team to ensure projects are managed and delivered on time and on budget to generate evidence-based solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business problems, needs and objectives, and translate into project requirements and pilot design concepts
  • Evaluate, interpret, and present evidence of project findings to decision-makers in a clear and concise manner to support business planning
  • Prepare comprehensive, coherent, and professional reports and presentations for a broad range of internal stakeholders, including senior management
