On behalf of the Board of Directors of International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) Vancouver Chapter, I’m pleased to announce that the 2024 Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The AGM is an important part of this evening for our membership. Please join us to celebrate our successes over the past year and share our plans for the future.
Thanks to all members, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and especially the hard work of the Board, the Chapter has accomplished a lot in many areas this year.
In the past year, the Chapter had continuous strong membership, and enhanced communications, professional development opportunities and engagement with members via multiple channels. The Chapter continued conducting online speaker events and BABOK group study sessions. The Chapter also partnered with other associations, businesses and education institutions in raising the awareness about business analysis and providing professional development and career advancement opportunities.
The Chapter continued to enhance the volunteer program with a team of dedicated volunteers who supported the chapter in taking on new initiatives.
If you are not currently an IIBA member, this is a great time to join (or renew). I would also encourage you to get involved as a volunteer to gain experiences, develop leadership skills and build a network with lasting connections.
