IIBA Certification Study Group Session 6
BABOK Chapter 7: Requirements Analysis and Design Definition
This is the sixth study session of 2018. The purpose of these sessions is to help BAs understand and achieve International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) certifications. At these sessions, participants will review and discuss key concepts, knowledge and skills, and share experiences in business analysis practices. Nine monthly sessions will continue until November 2018. You do not have to have attended the first session to attend this one.
The sessions are based on A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) version 3.
Chapter 7 describes the tasks that business analysts perform to structure and organize requirements discovered during elicitation activities, specify and model requirements and designs, validate and verify information, identify solution options that meet business needs, and estimate the potential value that could be realized for each solution option. (BABOK® Guide)
This session will be facilitated by Smail Touahria, MBA, CBAP®. Smail is a passionate business analyst with 12 years of experience in requirements management, business process improvement, agile project management and technology product development and implementation.
