IIBA Certification Study Group Session 5
IIBA Certification Study Group Session 5
BABOK Chapter 6: Strategy Analysis
This is the fifth study session of 2019. The purpose of these sessions is to help BAs understand and achieve International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) certifications. At these sessions, participants will review and discuss key concepts, knowledge and skills, and share experiences in business analysis practices. Nine monthly sessions will continue until November 2019. You do not have to have attended the first session to attend this one.
The sessions are based on A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) version 3.
Chapter 6 explains the tasks that business analysts perform to collaborate with stakeholders in order to identify a need of strategic or tactical importance, enable the enterprise to address that need, and align the resulting strategy for the change with higher and lower-level strategies.
This session will be facilitated by William D’Souza, MBA, PMP, CBAP. William is an accomplished Senior Manager with over 15 years experience in the financial services industry, with HSBC, currently working at Central 1 CU. He had led global teams of Business Analysts, as well has also done Product, Portfolio, Project and Program Management roles. William is looking forward to exchanging insights on the topic of “Strategy Analysis” and enhancing learning outcomes of the CBAP exam preparation.
