The Vancouver Chapter of the IIBA is a local store front for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) serving the lower mainland for over 12 years. Like the IIBA international, we are a non-profit professional organization working tirelessly to promote the practice of Business Analysis (BA), raise the profile of the business analysis profession, and locally represent the IIBA International. Over these years, the IIBA Vancouver Chapter has grown as demonstrated by an increase in memberships and expansion of the services it offers to Business Analysis and Business Analysts alike. The IIBA Vancouver chapter’s popularity in the local community evident at the grass roots by recurring sold-out speaker events and study group sessions. In 2017, IIBA Vancouver Chapter hosted 8 speaker events, 10 CBAP study sessions and 3 social events.
 
During our 2017 Annual General Meeting, we made a commitment to further engage Vancouver businesses in support of a strong BA community. The IIBA Vancouver Chapter is hosting its first ever Executive Breakfast on Thursday, September 20, 2018. This is an opportunity for Vancouver Executives in the BA field to learn more about our Chapter and how the Chapter can help the local BA community and their organizations. This is a great opportunity for you to build support for your profession and your career, and to allow us to show them your time at IIBA events is a great investment in you.
