About the speaker
Mehran is an experienced professional and educator with 22+ years’ experience in academia and professional development training, and project, environments. He started his career as a Business analyst in 1998, presently, working as the Department Head (Department of Project Management), and a Faculty at Vancouver Community College (VCC) running their Project Management department. He also teaches at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the New York Institute of Technology, along with leading his project management consulting firm, Efficert Academy. He is a past Senior Project Manager at TELUS, where he used to manage coaching and learning projects for TELUS. As a loyal volunteer, Mehran has been working as a board member and the VP Education for PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter for the past Four years. Mehran holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Software Engineering, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, and holds several certificates including PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, CSPO, CSM and ITIL.
