About the Event
The purpose of these sessions is to help BAs understand and achieve International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) certifications. At these sessions, participants will review and discuss key concepts, knowledge, and skills, and share experiences in business analysis practices.
The sessions are based on A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) version 3.
Chapter 6: Strategy Analysis explores how business analysts define the future state, assess the risks, and develop the change strategy to achieve the desired business outcomes. This chapter is crucial in understanding how to support strategic initiatives and deliver value at the enterprise level.
This session will be facilitated by Dr. Peter Riddell, a distinguished researcher and strategist with deep expertise in business analysis, enterprise transformation, and change leadership. Dr. Riddell has contributed to numerous thought leadership initiatives and has consulted widely on aligning strategy with business capabilities. He is also actively engaged in mentoring and professional development across the BA community.
Materials and Prework
Participants should bring a copy of the BABOK® Guide version 3, available online at no cost for IIBA members (IIBA Website). Non-members can purchase a PDF, ePub, or Kindle version at the IIBA Website or a printed copy on Amazon.
To facilitate an effective study, we ask participants to read Chapter 6 in advance and send any questions to development@vancouver.iiba.org.
